Excellent experience! Let me preface this review with the fact that we have moved multiple times with many different movers and many different experiences, some wonderful and some horrible. I am very picky because I have done this so many times and know how it SHOULD be done. All-Star was a pleasure to work with! I left the packing of all breakable items to them and had virtually no damages. They were on time, courteous, efficient and VERY careful with our belongings. If you have moved before, you know most movers are not on time and that can throw off the entire process, so timeliness is big to me. There also was zero “standing around” by their crew. They arrived and got straight to work and didn’t dilly dally. After the move, the very minor “oops” damages we had were quickly dealt with with zero hassle. Our only glitch was in a scheduling misunderstanding which left me with an unexpected weekend between the move out and move in. Matt went above and beyond (waaaaayyy above and beyond) to insure our load was secure over the weekend and even found an air conditioned storage facility for one entire truck of temperature sensitive items for the interim. Many movers over promise and under deliver. Not All-Star. If anything, they OVER deliver. Their pricing was also significantly better than the other movers who gave us a bid. One year later, they even moved a couple pieces of furniture at the last minute down to New Orleans to my son at an extremely reasonable price. I have recommended them numerous times and will continue to do so.

All-Star Moving is well named: they are stars… from Matt, the owner, to his moving staff to the office staff.  They moved me long distance from St. Louis to the NY City area.  I’ve moved a lot, and these guys are the best.  Matt was prompt with his bid, responsive to all questions and quirks that arose on my end in scheduling the move, and hands-on.  He knows his business. He bid a fixed price, and stuck with it; there were no unexpected add-ons or extra fees.  He takes seriously his commitment to each customer and their needs.  His guys worked hard, were respectful, cared about doing a good and careful job (which they delivered), and kept their sense of humor and purpose, even as challenges arose at the delivery site and storage room.  The office staff is involved and shares Matt’s commitment to providing a first-class experience for All-Star’s customers.  I couldn’t be more satisfied.  When I move again, I will ask if they want the job … even if it’s not to or from St. Louis!

I needed to have 2 heavy pieces of furniture (dining room table and leaves and chest of drawers) moved from my home to my son’s home in IL. Matt’s bid was by far the most reasonable.  He was prompt in replying to my phone message and prompt in scheduling the move. The movers themselves called when they were on the way; they were very professional, polite,  and careful, using furniture pads to protect the pieces.  I was very pleased with the movers, the price, the scheduling and would definitely call them again for large or small moves.

We hired All Star Moving to move our larger pieces of furniture. They arrived on time. There were three men and one truck as agreed upon. They put blankets on to protect furniture. They took apart some pieces and put back together at destination. One end table glass top got broken. They took measurements and had a new piece of tempered glass made and delivered to my new home in a very timely manner. They did a great job and I would use them again. The work was completed in less than four hours.

Very professional and excellent service. Every time they came over for the estimate, drop off boxes, pack our item and finally to move us they were early. This made it very easy on us not having to wait. Pricing was a surprise, while everyone else I called charged a premium for weekend move they did not and they were efficient. Best moving company in the area.

They were amazing! The guys were pleasant, good-natured, professional and hard-working. They showed up on time, listened carefully as we showed them all of the pieces to be moved, and were very organized. We had them move many pieces of antique furniture – many very large and heavy. They wrapped and protected each piece efficiently and well. Everything arrived in good condition. This was our easiest move ever. We were very pleased and would definitely hire them again!

Movers came and loaded up all of our stuff and moved it to our new house. We had a lot and it was really hot but the guys were very professional and nice. They took great care loading and moving all of our items. I was very impressed! So much that I decided to write this review which I rarely do.

Matt and his crew of 5 loaded all of our furniture and boxes onto the truck for one move from St. Louis to Warrenton. The wrapped all wood and fragile items in blankets and shrink wrap. The move was perfect from start to finish. Matt was professional and his crew was very helpful. The moved quickly and efficiently. Our furniture and belongings were delivered on time and unharmed. Matt was very reassuring in answering my questions and concerns. I was very happy.

They have done a few moving jobs in the past. With my neighbors move they put furniture and boxes on the trucks and drove to Columbia, MO. They also moved my brother. They worked very hard. During my neighbors move they went out of their way; gave 110%. I wasn’t there for my brothers move. I would call them again.

They moved our belongings to our new home approximately 30 minutes away from our previous home. I contacted Matt about a week prior to our move after talking to three companies . Matt was in the middle of another move but answered the phone and requested to call me later that evening. He called me as promised, asked for specific information regarding my belongings, size of home etc. and gave me an estimate without going through much hassle (e.g. other companies requested me to fill out detailed forms). His quote was the best of all the other companies I had checked. I requested that I would confirm the exact dates a couple of days later and he was very accommodating. The team of 3 (per my request) showed up a few minutes early and after introducing themselves, got straight to work. I was very impressed with the professionalism and etiquette of each member of the team. They shrink wrapped several pieces of furniture and took excellent care of everything, including fragile items. The 28 foot truck they brought with them was very clean. Everything was very well organized in the truck. We were moving to a newly constructed home and per our request each member took special care not to bump into walls, scratch the floors etc. – each one reminding the other time and again to be careful. I thought that was very impressive! Everyone was happy to accommodate our last minute requests such as moving items to other rooms/floors as needed. The men completed the move in in very reasonable time and they hardly took any breaks (other than the drive to the destination). Overall I was very pleased with the service Matt’s team offered and would recommend All Star Moving to anyone!!
